"The invitation is here," Gayle Fuguitt, president/ceo of the Advertising Research Foundation (ARF), told the 1,575 delegates at the organization's 2014 Re:Think Conference, held at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City.

"The time is now. The place is here."

Fuguitt, who allowed that she "failed at retirement" from General Mills in 2012, took on her present position in 2013, succeeding the late Bob Barocci, insists on a new prominence for market researchers in corporate hierarchies.
