The art of research narratives: impact through entertainment

There will be critical changes in the communication of research data over the next five years, as corporations place increased value on successful research transfer. The authors propose that visual storytelling, using known techniques from the field of entertainment, will gather momentum as an extremely efficient way to transfer research data. Preliminary findings indicate that visual storytelling increases efficiency (speed of consumption), impact (resonance of content), and empathy (understanding of new markets).
