Comparing pandemic consumption patterns between China's mega municipalities Shenzhen and Shanghai

Shenzhen and Shanghai have implemented long-term lockdowns due to the epidemic, but the feelings brought to people and the focus of discussions are very different. Yiyi Data Company specially selected the consumer data and e-commerce platform data of each of the two cities during the lockdown period.

So far in 2022, the number of cities with outbreaks in China has been increasing, and first-tier cities have always received the highest topicality. Although the Shenzhen outbreak came earlier, the Shanghai outbreak was more widely discussed on Weibo.
