There are hundreds of thousands of cancer patients in Ukraine. 95% of them can't access free innovative drugs.
Only 5% of all cancer patients in the country receive innovative drugs free of charge from the state. On average, the state spends €1 on the treatment of one citizen with them. So the vast majority of cancer patients are forced to pay for expensive drugs out-of-pocket. And their price is absolutely unaffordable for an ordinary Ukrainian.
