On November 17, 2005 Geoffrey Frost, Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of Motorola, Inc. died suddenly. Most readers of this magazine are by now familiar with his professional career. Geoffrey started in business at Grey Advertising in the creative department, and he then moved to Scali, McCabe, Sloves. He spoke both Japanese and Russian. He worked in management positions at Foote, Cone & Belding and in 1996 he joined Nike and was named Global Director of Advertising and Brand Communications. In 1999 he made the change to Motorola.
