Intersport, a sports retailer, wanted to launch its new running collection, with almost no production or media budget. The objective was to get to a specific target audience – Amateur runners – and bring them to the shops. (Commercial, Marketing and Communications objective)

Further objectives were:

  • to increase sales by at least 5% (Commercial objective)
  • to promote a wide range of running gear at the start of the running season (Marketing objective)
  • to avoid standard (20%off) sales models (Commercial and Marketing objective)
  • to be in line with Intersport brand statement: ‘Sport to the people’. (Communications objective)
