Objectives

  • Objective 1: In 2017 The Polish Government started logging in the UNESCO protected area and the Europe's last lowland primeval forest. First objective was to educate about the value of the Białowieża Forest – a place as unique as Niagara Falls – and to raise the awareness of its illegal logging.
  • Objective 2: The protests coming from NGOs, scientists and concerned citizens were largely ignored and to hide their actions the Government even shut the forest down. We needed to activate more and different kinds of protesters in order to put a stronger pressure on ruling party. Second objective was to collect over 100 000 petition signatures which would influence Polish Government to finally end the Białowieża logging.
