In 1987 eleven-year-old Stephen Wiltshire appeared on a BBC QED documentary called 'The Foolish Wise Ones', where he demonstrated his astounding ability to draw, with absolute accuracy, entirely from memory. The nation witnessed him depict The Natural History Museum, having seen it only once, with every window. door, column, arch and spire perfectly detailed in the right place and to scale.

Stephen was an autistic savant and his talent captured the imagination of the nation....
