The Dole Sunshine Company, a producer of fresh pineapple, formed a partnership with Ananas Anam for the development and expansion of Pi–atex to create a sustainable alternative for rotting pineapple leaves, encourage brands to adopt the textile, increase brand awareness and engagement, change consumer behaviour and reduce fruit loss from operations.
