Privacy: the two-minute warning has sounded

Regulators have issued a two-minute warning to the online community, signaling that time is running out to provide meaningful privacy protection for Internet users. When the final gun sounds, new laws and regulations for Internet commerce are likely to move ahead, unless online businesses launch a real self-regulatory offensive now.
