Tech adoption lags across the healthcare spectrum

Americans are getting more and more comfortable with using technology to help track and monitor their health and fitness. However, less than 30 percent of physicians recommend general health and wellness apps, wearable devices, and medical web-connected monitoring or measurement devices, according to research conducted by Kantar. Indeed, getting both doctors and patients to close the health-tech gap is the next frontier for the healthcare sector.
