"Dear clumsy bellboys," the commercial's voice-over began, as a man placed a suitcase inside a cage. The voice went on to identify "brutal cab drivers, careless doormen …" The viewer then saw that the cage belonged to a gorilla, who eyed the suitcase with curiosity. The catalogue continued—"ruthless porters, savage baggage masters"—as the primate grabbed the bag and swung up to the top of the cage, then hurled it to the floor.
