Cineplex: Love Letter

Cineplex, a theatrical cinema company, increased awareness and intent among audiences in Canada by launching a social video as a love letter to cinemagoers, showing them why watching a film is better in the cinema.

Campaign Summary

After being forced to close theatres nationwide due to the pandemic, Canada's largest chain of movie theatres welcomed people back with a love letter to the in-theatre experience. 'Where Escape Begins' is a creative platform that highlights the total sensory escape you only get when watching a movie in the theatre, and positions Cineplex as the opposite of streaming a movie at home. The results: a Canadian audience believing more in Cineplex and more ready to return to the theatre.
