During its 2024 Annual Vendor Negotiation (AVN) process, Amazon has pushed for a lower cost for the wholesale purchases it makes from brands in its First Party (1P) program.

The brands participating in the 1P program sell their products to Amazon wholesale and Amazon takes over distribution. The AVNs help set the financial tone for the brands, and Amazon, for the year.
