Remember Y2K? Get ready for Y2K 2.0. The turning of the new millennium may have seemed like much ado about nothing 10 years ago. After all, no global computer systems crashed, and society, for the most part, held itself together. But there was an unseen force created by the build-up toY2K that actually helped accelerate our global technology infrastructure, especially as it relates to digital media. It also, ironically, contributed to the dot-com crash of 2001. Let me explain.
