Mobile adspend among WARC's twelve key markets amounted to US$45bn in 2015, the latest verifiable year of measurement. The US accounted for the majority, with spend of US$21bn, followed by China (US$11.6bn) and the UK (US$4bn). Globally, mobile subscriptions have more than doubled over the decade to 2016, with 7.4bn registered last year. Over half (53%) of mobile subscriptions, worldwide are in Asia- Pacific. Globally, consumers spend two hours and 11 minutes accessing the internet via their mobile device each day, 35% of all daily online time.
