The average cost-per-click (CPC) of Amazon advertising in the United States has risen rapidly over the past year and growth has accelerated in 2021, according to data from Marketplace Pulse.
Advertising on Amazon now costs, on average, $1.20 per click. This is an increase of 29.0% from the start of 2021 and up 51.9% from June 2020. This trend is visible across other countries and the growth has been caused by rapidly growing demand from advertisers, in part as large brands shift their budgets to the e-commerce platform.
