National Geographic: Planet or Plastic - Story that Stays

National Geographic, a television network, created a Facebook Story in India that never disappeared to highlight the dangers of single-use plastics and the fact they never go away.

Campaign Purpose

National Geographic wanted to raise awareness about its 'Planet or Plastic' campaign. This movement was a success globally, but the task was to get the Indian netizens notice hazards of single-use plastic and reduce its usage.

We turned to a (virtual) place most frequented by youth and chose a property that's most favoured by the Social Media habitats - Stories. Typically, Facebook stories disappear after 24 hours of going live but not ours. We made 'Story that Stays', so
