Top Chinese FMCG companies attracted 82m more consumers this year
The top 22 FMCG companies in China managed to attract over 82m urban Chinese consumers in 2020, despite the COVID-19 outbreak, according to data from Kantar Worldpanel.
Why it matters
Yili added 5m consumers which puts it at the top spot for the first time ever. Kantar adds that dairy players Yili and Mengniu Group have proven particularly attractive to consumers given strong demand for health and immunity products.
