Roku ad revenue topped $2bn last year

Roku's platform revenue, which includes advertising income, topped $2bn last year for the first time ever, according to the latest company data.
Why it matters
However, growth slowed considerably through 2021 in part due to supply chain disruptions among key advertiser categories. The video streaming company added that verticals like restaurants and travel had strong growth, while automotive and CPG experienced supply chain disruptions that led to "Q4 softness in advertising spend".
