ROI variation between categories is evident according to to the latest data from WARC’s ROI Benchmark. The report is based on 1,063 WARC case studies from around the world since the year 2000 that include ROI (profit or revenue) data.
Why it matters
Breaking down median and profit ROI figures through a sector lens allows deeper analysis of the data itself. For example, campaigns from the automotive sector have the highest median revenue return, at 8.04. However, the median profit ROI for auto campaigns is lower than the all-sector average.
