Brands may be talking about sustainability the wrong way: instead of focusing on the science, they should “humanise the topic”, says the president of McCann WorldgroupTruth Central, Laura Simpson.
Why it matters
Eight in ten people globally believe that climate change is the biggest challenge facing the world in the next 20 years. Awareness isn’t an issue; what is, is how individuals, brands and governments can work together to address that challenge. That will require some major shifts in thinking and behaviour, but these needn’t be as disruptive as they might initially seem.
