Fashion and electronics see largest online shopping growth

Fashion, consumer electronics and health & beauty have seen some of the largest rates of online shopping growth, according to a global survey of online shoppers by PwC.
Why it matters
Shopping online has grown rapidly in popularity but this has been felt differently across categories. Around half (53%) of online shoppers say they are shopping more or exclusively online in the fashion category, a rate that is more than double the 22% shopping more or exclusively in store. However, online growth has a narrower lead for other categories like groceries.
