Colgate-Palmolive advertising spend rises 6%
Colgate-Palmolive’s advertising spend increased by 6% from the previous year, and by 2% from the previous quarter, to reach $503m in the third quarter of 2021, according to the company’s latest report.
Why it matters
Colgate-Palmolive, one of the biggest companies in the home care and toiletries & cosmetics sectors, has been increasing its ad investment since 2017. This has involved new messaging strategies, including on environmental awareness, and media like social and influencer marketing.
