ANA/AIMM diversity study shows continued but gradual progress
The annual diversity benchmark report from the ANA and Alliance for Inclusive and Multicultural Marketing shows that talent recruitment and retention are still points of tension for the industry, and offers key actions and steps marketers and companies can take.
Why it matters
Released in November 2022, ‘A Diversity Report for the Advertising/Marketing Industry’ finds that the US population is more diverse than in previous decades. However, this is not reflected in the industry. Improving diversity, in addition to being the right thing to do, will also improve the industry’s ability to connect with diverse audiences.
