All product sectors projected to top pre-COVID ad investment next year
Most product categories were able to record a full advertising recovery this year but there are notable exceptions, according to WARC Data's latest Global Advertising Trends report.
Why it matters
COVID caused a severe disruption to advertising budgets but this latest research shows most product categories have rebounded this year and those that haven't will fully recover by 2022.
At the same time, some categories have registered continuous growth throughout the last couple of years – telecoms & utilities advertising is worth up to $35bn more than before the pandemic.
