  • Global adspend (based on 12 key markets) is expected to increase by +4.5% in 2012, a downgrade of -0.4pp on the previous forecast.
  • This is equivalent of +1.9%.
  • Four markets have had their growth expectations for 2012 raised from November: Brazil, Canada, China and Japan.
  • With the eurozone debt crisis threatening to push the region back into recession, Germany, France and Italy are now expected to record the worst year-on-year performances of the 12 markets.
  • Companies in the region are being cautious, despite the potential boost to adspend of the London Olympics and the European football...
