Apple soars at the ‘magic’ intersection of hardware, software and services

As one of the world’s largest companies and a long-time leader in the consumer electronics category, Apple is leaning on product innovation, software and subscriptions to drive record growth.

Apple’s focus on innovation across hardware, software and services has pushed the iconic brand to its highest ever quarterly revenue, according to the technology giant’s Chief Executive Officer, Tim Cook.

“We achieved an all-time revenue record of US$111.4 billion. We saw strong double-digit growth across every product category, and we achieved all-time revenue records in each of our geographic segments,” Cook said on Apple’s Q1 2021 earnings call recently, noting that the record results had occurred against the backdrop of “the most challenging year any of us can remember.”
