Growth in Google paid clicks has slowed dramatically, according to the latest reports from parent company Alphabet. Despite climbing steadily since Q1 2015, year-on-year growth in the number of paid clicks has dropped from 66% in Q4 2018 to just 18% in Q3 2019. This is the lowest level ever.
The company says paid clicks are growing because of increased YouTube engagement ads. This is helped by increased mobile search queries, improved ad delivery and global expansion of products, advertisers and its userbase.
