Radio advertising expenditure in the UK amounted to £645.8m in 2016, according to data from Radiocentre and the Advertising Association/WARC Expenditure Report. This represents year-on-year growth of 5.4% from 2015, when total spend amounted to £612.8m. Excluding digital, radio took a 3.1% share of total UK advertising spend in 2016, a share which rises to 4.9% in display-only terms.
