UK publishers lost £18.4m in revenue as a result of ad blocking in 2018, according to the latest research from the Assocation for Online Publishing. Among the 11 AOP members that contributed data, the amount of lost revenue from ad blocking has nearly doubled from £9.3m in 2016. The industry body includes News UK, Haymarket and Bauer Media as members.
