E-commerce sites in India are the worst affected by digital advertising fraud, according to the latest data from techARC. Digital commerce sites recorded a 51% fraud rate – equal to $831.1m – nearly double the level for second-placed leisure and travel. techARC estimated Indian digital ad fraud at $1.63bn in 2018 and forecasts an increase of 23% in 2019.
