The Google/Facebook duopoly continues to dominate UK mobile use, according to the latest data from UKOM and Comscore. Of the ten mobile apps that recorded the highest level of unique visitors, nine were owned by either Google or Facebook. Snapchat was the only non-duopoly platform to make the top ten, placing fourth.
YouTube was first with 30.1 million unique visitors while the Facebook platform was second with 27.4 million. Although Snapchat placed fourth, its position may dip as the number of active users in Europe has fallen by three million this year.
