News sites saw the greatest drop in trackers per page after GDPR was introduced, according to the latest data from Cliqz and Ghostery. The average number of trackers per page on news sites fell 7.5% between April and July 2018, after GDPR was introduced at the end of May. Across all website categories, the average number of trackers fell by 3.4%.
