COVID-19 spurs telemedicine use in Australia

One-tenth (11%) of consumers in Australia have started using telemedicine for physical health during the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. This is the digital activity with the greatest increase in new users, according to the latest data from McKinsey & Company.

In addition, 3% of Australians are using telemedicine more during the outbreak. One-half (48%) of those using it more or for the first time say they intend to continue when the outbreak ends.
