Australians using the internet more often, but for shorter periods

The frequency of internet use in Australia is growing, according to the latest data from the Reuters Instute for the Study of Journalism. Last year, 40.9% said they used the internet more than 10 times a day, up from 29.8% in 2016. This is almost equal to the 41.8% rate recorded in 2015.
