Amazon is most valuable brand as Instagram doubles in value

An overview of the top ten global brands by value and the highest growth brands in 2019.

Amazon is the most valuable global brand, according to the latest report from BrandZ. The e-commerce giant registered a calculated brand value of $315.5bn, edging ahead of Apple and Google for the first time. Amazon has leaped ahead, recording year-on-year growth of 52.0%, as a result of its diverse ecosystem of products and services.

Among the top 100 most valuable brands, technology was the leading sector, placing 23 times. This is followed by regional banks (12) and telecom providers (10).
