Watching gaming livestreams is most popular among 16-24 year-olds, according to the latest research from GlobalWebIndex. A reported 31% of those aged 16-24 have watched a gaming livestream in the past month, with this share falling as age rises.
However, a still sizable 12% of 45-54 year-olds and 6% of 55-64 year-olds have watched a livestream in the past month. Gaming content is most popular in the Asia Pacific region, driven particularly by South Korea.
