YouTube penetration in France has grown for the first time since 2015, according to the latest data from the Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism. The share of French adults (aged 18+) who used YouTube grew above one-half for the first time last year, after declining popularity in 2016 and 2017. Year-on-year growth for YouTube penetration was 5.7 percentage points (pp) in 2018.
