Live TV continues to be the most popular video format in the UK, according to the latest research from Ofcom. People over the age of 16 spent two hours and 43 minutes each day watching live TV in 2018, equal to over one-half (55.6%) of total video consumption.
However, live TV's share is down from 60.0% the year before. YouTube and subscription video-on-demand (SVoD) watching are the main challengers.
