An overview of YouTube, video and display ad viewability rates in six key markets in the Americas.

YouTube ad viewability averages 94% across six key markets in the Americas, according to the latest data from Think with Google, the company's digital trends research arm. In comparison, over half (51%) of display ads across the web meet Media Ratings Council standards, while this rises to over two-thirds (70%) of other web and app video ads.

The region sees little variation in YouTube ad viewability, although Colombia is lowest at 90% while all other markets equal or exceed 94%. Web and app video ads see a greater difference, between 62% (Brazil) and 75% (Argentina and Colombia). Display ads vary...
