Two in five Americans feel comfortable going on vacation

An overview of how comfortable Americans feel to take a vacation, take different modes of transport and stay in different forms of accommodation.

The number of Americans feeling comfortable to go on a vacation is rising but this is still at only two in five, according to the latest survey from market research company Morning Consult.

In mid-March, 41% of American adults said they feel comfortable going on a vacation right now, only the second time this has exceeded 40% in the last year. This is a gradual increase from the 26% recorded at the end of December.
