Shopping apps see growth in Latin America but conversion rate declines

An overview of shopping app performance in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia and Mexico since July 2019.

The number of e-commerce app downloads in Latin America grew by 93% between February and May 2020 but the conversion rate has fallen this year, according to data from mobile attribution and analytics company AppsFlyer.

In Brazil, the share of users who make a purchase within 30 days of installing a shopping app fell to 9.6% in June 2020, down from a high of 12.4% in December 2019.
