Advertising expenditure is forecast to continue its double-digit growth in Russia, with adspend expected to grow 19.3% to RUB677,098 million in 2018. According to the latest data from WARC, AKAR and the Internet Advertising Bureau (IAB), the country's total adspend grew by nearly 50% (48.7%) between 2015 and 2017. While 2014 and 2015 saw more modest year-on-year rises, adspend continued its strong growth between 2009 and 2013, rising by 71.5%.
