LinkedIn and advertising lead Microsoft revenue growth

An overview of Microsoft's revenue growth in Q4 2021.

LinkedIn and advertising were two of the quickest growing segments for Microsoft in the final three months of 2021, according to the latest company data.

Revenue from LinkedIn, including from subscriptions and advertising, equalled $3,531m in Q4 2021. This is an increase of 37.0% from the previous year and up 68.0% from Q4 2019.

Microsoft advertising revenue, from its search and news properties, grew by 28.4%in the latest quarter, quicker than the overall growth rate and tied-second among business segments. It topped $3.0bn for the first time ($3,064m) and is up 41.7% from Q4...
