Influencers fail to lead on Facebook in the UK

An overview of social video views by creator type on Facebook, Instagram and YouTube in the United Kingdom.

Influencers are most popular on Instagram and YouTube but suffer on Facebook video content, according to the latest data from Tubular Intelligence. Influencers account for 57% of all Instagram video views and this rises to four-fifths on YouTube. However, they account for just 13% of Facebook video views.

Instead, media companies dominate Facebook, accounting for 85% of all video views. Brands suffer, accounting for less than 5% across all three platforms. Globally, brands see the lowest video engagement on YouTube and Facebook, while influencers lead in part due to their authentic communication.
