Half of APAC children use multiple devices at a time

An overview of multiscreening among 4-16 year olds in Asia Pacific.

One-half of children in Asia Pacific use multiple devices at the same time. This is according to the latest research from child-safe digital platform TotallyAwesome in their survey of 4,480 internet users aged 4–16 across 14 Asia Pacific markets.

Multiscreening with a smartphone and smart TV is most popular, at nearly two-thirds (64%) of those surveyed. This gives marketers the ability to combine both TV and digital media, enabling a strong mix of reach and personalisation in a key demographic. However, restraint in child data colletion should be a priority.
