The TV streaming giant Roku is seeing strong growth in average revenue per user (ARPU) and hours of TV being streamed, according to the latest company reports. Total ARPU reached $16.60 in Q1 2018, a 79.3% increase from the level seen in Q3 2016. Over the same period, total streaming hours have more than doubled, reaching 5.5 billion (or 229 million days) in Q2 2018.
Roku reports that the majority of their platform revenue is from the US and that approximately two-thirds is from advertising. In Q2 2018, platform revenue reached $90.3 million, an increase of 272.3% from Q3 2016....
