GIPC, The Chamber's Global Intellectual Property Center, launched a campaign in India to build a positive narrative around the role of IP, highlight its role to study and combat COVID-19 and raise awareness that every country stands to benefit from strong IP rights.

GIPC has worked with us since 2013, when the previous Indian government deployed a compulsory license that threatened to entrench anti-IP policy and sit as an anchor on both U.S. and Indian innovation. Over the years, we have been able to stigmatize compulsory licensing and create a backstop against their routine use by other countries.
