Stillbirth Foundation Australia, an organisation striving to prevent stillbirth, launched a campaign to educate people in Australia on the behaviours that can reduce the risk of stillbirth.

Our situation

Around 310,000 babies are born in Australia every year. Sadly, around 2,200 are stillborn – or six every day.

This rate has not changed in 20 years. It's higher than the national road toll. While not all stillbirths are preventable, many are – and there are measures that can reduce the risk. Despite this, there is a lack of awareness, due to a culture of stigma that surrounds the topic.
